LYDIA ANDERSON

Executive Assistant to Derik Murray

Lydia Anderson is the Executive Assistant to Network Entertainment’s CEO, Derik Murray. Lydia plays a key role in the administrative functions of the company, and is an integral touchpoint for Network’s partners and collaborators across the board, including talent on both sides of the camera, buyers, and executives at all levels.

Lydia studied Communications and Media Studies, with a specialization in video production, at Concordia University in Montreal, and graduated with distinction in 2016. She has worked in the film and telecommunications industries for over five years.

During her time in academia, Lydia held the position of Arts Editor at The Concordian newspaper. As a journalist, she scouted, wrote, edited, and published articles herself, while also managing a team of writers and editing all submissions.

Lydia began her professional career at Bell Media as a Brand Ambassador. There, she quickly rose through the ranks and, within six months, became the morning show Assistant Producer at Vancouver’s #1 hit music station, 94.5 Virgin Radio, and soon thereafter, its morning show Producer.

Lydia then branched out to explore another passion of hers, the world of film. She began her film journey as a Production Assistant on four major film/TV productions, and then a Training Assistant Director. During her first six months of film work, she was promoted to On Set Key Production Assistant, 3rd Assistant Director, and 2nd Assistant Director. Lydia joined Network Entertainment in November 2021.
