Louise Valgardson joined Network in March 2020 as an in-house Line Producer. Prior to joining the team, she line-produced two of Network’s premium documentary series: PUNK for EPIX, Executive Produced by punk icon Iggy Pop and legendary fashion designer John Varvatos; and The Age of A.I., a YouTube Premium series hosted and executive produced by Robert Downey Jr. 

 

Since coming on board, Louise has focused on Network’s most recent I AM slate of feature biographical films, including Burt Reynolds, Jackie O, and Alfred Hitchcock, and the Company’s upcoming slate of feature documentaries and docu-series.  
 
Prior to joining the Network team, she earned a BA in English Literature from UBC, and worked for over two decades in the film and advertising production industry as a producer and line producer. As a commercial producer, she has worked on hundreds of ads for national and international brands including Ford, Mattel, Nintendo, Pfizer, Telus, and Bell Canada. Additionally, Louise has production-managed two distinguished Leo-winning Canadian feature films — My Father’s Angel and Suspicious River.
