A uniquely talented, multi-award-winning filmmaker and creator, Jesse James Miller leads Network’s creative team and works closely with Network creative collaborators, a talented lineup of award-winning directors, DOP's, writers, and composers. Jesse’s first production with Derik Murray was as the editor of Network’s acclaimed Academy Award shortlisted film Facing Ali

 

Jesse went on to build a reputation in documentary film as an acclaimed director and a decade later after Facing Ali, Jesse directed Network’s SXSW-selected feature documentary I Am Richard Pryor, and most recently directed PUNK, which features Iggy Pop, Dave Grohl, Billie Joe Armstrong, and John Lydon, chronicling the fascinating history of punk music over four critically acclaimed episodes on EPIX.
 
Jesse’s earlier work includes the award-winning biographical documentary The Good Son: The Life of Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, and the critically acclaimed Chasing Evel: The Robbie Knievel Story. Other selected credits include AMC's Robert Kirkman's Secret History of Comics: The Truth About Wonder Woman.

Jesse has also written and directed international film festival winners Becoming Redwood and Rabbit, as well as short branded docs for clients such as Roots of Fight, RVCA, Under Armour, Movember, and Lancaster, featuring talents like The Gracies, BJ Penn, Muhammad Ali, Snoop Dogg, Evel Knievel, Elvis, Bruce Lee, and Mike Tyson.
